The Robert Turnbull Piano Foundation annually awards  grants to young classical pianists of all nationalities at the start of their professional careers and supports the En Blanc et Noir Festival International de Piano held every July in Lagrasse, France, where the performers are paid but the concerts are free to the public.

The RTPF has a global reach, reflecting not only Robert’s devotion to music but also his lifelong passion for travel. The Foundation is run by three of his closest friends, based in the UK, Europe and the USA: it reflects his broad tastes and liberal values, and is dedicated to ensuring that his legacy and memory are honoured.
